Ford and our National Parks
As a proud partner of America's national parks, Ford Motor Company is providing sustainable solutions to help preserve the environmental and cultural resources of our nation's national parks. For example, Ford has developed programs to place students in national parks to educate visitors about alternative transportation and to address transportation challenges.

Ford has also donated electric vehicles and Escape Hybrids to National Parks all across America, helping park rangers reduce the environmental impact on these important resources.

California's Golden Gate National Recreation Area is an Escape Hybrid recipient and a showcase of sustainability in its own right. The Warming Hut, once an engineer storehouse, is now a visitor center that favors local resources and select materials derived from renewable resources. The use of conservation technologies and the sales of recycled content represent the embodiment of environmental responsibility.
